DREAM COME TRUE : PMT 1997 to Cardiologist 2017

I am grateful to god that today after twenty years my dream to become a cardiologist has been realised to the fullest & now I have been able to treat and help scores of needy cardiac patients daily and provide them the best of cardiac care.

In 1997 I topped the Pre Medical entrance exams and was interviewed by newspapers on that achievement. On that day I stated my dream of becoming a cardiologist and same was published as a headline. I just got hold of the old newspaper cutting today . I was elated to see and read it and it humbled me . One can always find a way if the goal is clear from the begining .

It was June of 1997 , exactly 20 years ago. The journey to become a consultant & interventional cardiologist had scores of exams and years of studies and training. I can not over express my gratitude for my medical teachers for imparting the best of medical and clinical teachings which makes the foundation of a good doctor.

My development as a heart specialist could not have been possible without thousands of my patients whom I treated for chest pain, angina, heart attack, heart failure, hypertension, dyslipidemia, heart rhythm problems ,valvular heart disease and on whom I performed procedures like echocardiography, ECG, holter test,  angiography, angioplasty and stent, pacemaker implantation, bypass surgery, valve replacement, balloon valvuloplasty, device closure etc.

Besides my Alma mater  PGI Chandigarh  the journey went through MGM Medical College Indore & MY Hospital Indore. Working in Reputed Hospitals like Escorts Arneja Hospital Nagpur,Mohak Hospital Indore, Sri Aurobindo Medical College Indore  and various other hospitals added to the experience of these 20 years.  I wish and hope to be able to work always in service of cardiac patients and to continuosly update and upgrade myself for the very best results.
