12 lead Electrocardiogram ( ECG ) is available at all our centers at nominal charges. We are also doing 24 to 72 hour Holter or ambulatory ECG recordings.
ECG is basically recording of current produced by the heart and its conduction system. i this test some leads are kept over the chest and limbs ( arms & Legs) of the patient and a machine records the current produced and prints it on a sheet of paper.
ECG is very helpful in diagnosing heart diseases like Heart attack, angina, arrhythmia, heart block, Hypertension effect- hypertrophy and various other disorder. its a very simple, convenient, fast, cheap and easily available test of the heart and is usually done in all the patients coming for cardiology consultation.
